Boeing Awarded US Army Contract for 14 Additional CH-47F Chinook Helicopters
- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] has received a U.S. Army contract valued at approximately $370 million for 14 CH-47F Chinook helicopters to support Foreign Military Sales efforts. The aircraft will be delivered to the U.S. Army beginning in 2014; all but one are intended for Australia and the United Arab Emirates.

Australia – C-27J Aircraft and Related Support
- The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress Dec. 16 of a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Australia for 10 C-27J aircraft and associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support for an estimated cost of $950 million.

Ghana joins the family of Airbus Military C295 operators
- The Ghana Air Force has taken delivery of the first of two C295 aircraft that it ordered from Airbus Military. The second aircraft will be delivered in the first quarter of 2012.
