Air France jet clips commuter jet
  • On Monday night, an Airbus A380 superjumbo - operated by Air France - scraped against a commuter jet while taxiing at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport before its planned departure to Paris.The A380's wing, which spans almost 80-metres, clipped the tail of a Bombardier CRJ commuter jet operated by Delta Air Lines' Comair unit, the US carrier said in a statement. There were no injuries. The superjumbo was immobilised and passengers were rerouted with partner airlines throughout yesterday, according to an Air France spokesperson.
