- Air Force Base Ysterplaat is proudly hosting its 2011 Airshow on 09 and 10 December and will be the official kick off to the Festive Season in the City of Cape Town. Following 7 years of extremely successful Air Shows, this year brings a new element.
The Airshow is further enhanced with a festival of ”Wheels” which caters for all motor and motorcycle enthusiasts and includes various activities and displays such as vintage vehicle displays, 4x4 track, gymkana, motorcycle displays and much more. The Airshow part of Wings Wheels will showcase a variety of civilian and military aircraft with a very comprehensive flying programme and a variety of static displays.

With over 40 000m” of indoor and outdoor exhibition space and activities, this event is not to be missed, by exhibitors and visitors alike.
